Yerba Mate Canarias is a Brazilian-Uruguayan variety of holly. The plants come from Brazil but are packed in Uruguay.
Leaves used for production, are imported from Santa Catarina, Paraná y Rio Grande Do Sul in Brazil. After drying and initial grinding, they are aged for 4 to 6 months under controlled temperature and humidity conditions to obtain the best quality product. After opening the package, you will notice that you are holding something really special in your hands. Drought is finely ground, which is characteristic for the Brazilian type of Yerba Mate. Canarias Tradicional has an intense flavor and aroma but is not as bitter as other traditional types.
Canarias Tradicional has a very strong stimulating effect, making it a healthier alternative to black coffee drunk every morning by most people around the world.
